Puppy Training
Manners & Obedience
Behavior Modification
We offer in home puppy training and puppy classes held in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. Classes are a wonderful way to receive lots of education and socialization opportunities at an a low price! Topics covered include biting, chewing, house training, and teaching basic manners while providing positive and appropriate socialization. View and sign up for our classes here!

Puppy Train & Play
Puppy Train and Play is a 4 hour program at our facility providing foundational skills training, enrichment, and socialization. Puppies receive individual 1:1 training sessions throughout their stay as well as appropriate socialization and playtime with well-matched puppies. They are also provided with regular potty breaks (including learning to potty on cue) and opportunities for outdoor exploration.
We offer in home manners and obedience training as well as a variety of group classes in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. Topics covered in our classes include introducing and refining skills such as polite leash walking, coming when called, giving attention around distractions and being able to settle. Day Training
Day training is a way to quickly jumpstart your dog’s learning journey and is appropriate for dogs of any age. Private in home training sessions are geared toward coaching you to train your dog–they are most successful with daily practice between sessions. With day training, you can leave the training to us!
We have been helping dogs with behavior issues for over a decade. We pride ourselves in staying current on the latest science in the field! Your dog’s past experiences, genetic makeup, environment, and personality are all essential factors we consider when making a plan to change behavior.
Group Classes
Group classes at Freak On A Leash provide socialization, manners training around new people and dogs, enrichment, training for various competitive dog sports, and above all the opportunity to learn skills in a fun and supportive environment. Group classes are the perfect way to enrich your dog’s life, enhance their well-being, and keep your dog mentally and physically fit.
Does your dog already know the basics but only listens in your own home? Group classes are a great start to helping your dog learn to listen everywhere and be calm in various settings around people and other dogs.
